Minneapolis vocalist, producer and DJ Fourfeet makes his House Proud Debut behind the Decks, rinsing a signature flavor of those phat, funky and soulful jams! You’ve seen him down at HP on vocals with a whole host of legendary performers that we’ve all spent our nights with in the basement at Honey.. and now we get to host him as he works those decks, something serious. This cat has some stellar music out in the world of dance music and has collaborated and been featured on some hot records for the better part of two decades. When we think of MPLS house music history and people who’ve spent a lifetime building on the music and community through music- Monte Hilleman tops that list with countless contributions to the city and has always paved the way for the younger cats to express themselves, through this music. With essential residencies in almost every venue to ever host house music artists- thiswon has led the way for soulful house music for the last 15 yrs with Vino and even longer, behind the decks in this city as a hard working DJ. He’s taken his sounds and sets all over the world- from Miami to Chicago to Colorado and even Croatia, to name a few. We’re celebrating 15 years of Vino Recording Music that has a pretty dope release roster stemming from the glory days of 12 inch record releases and early Traxsource digital release adopters, with artists like ( Riverside Soul / De’Monica / Bryan Gerrard / Alexia / Monte Hilleman / Jask / Jevne / Matthias Matty Heilbronn / Audiowhores / Havens & Hart / Jason Heinrichs / Overnight Sensations).
Monte is bringing a bunch of music swag for the party peeps down at House Proud with CD’s and Records. Vino Recordings has always emphasized the soulful side of House music and continues this tradition into 2018 with a major focus on putting out even more MPLS House Music with artists from all corners of this amazing city. You can expect music from the likes of: FOURFEET, Jeff Swiff, Jason Heinrichs and Label Boss- Monte Hilleman, to kick things off. It’s going to be a pretty stellar year for this music and we can’t wait to get it started with all of you, next month!
